A video believed to reveal the face of Yaytseslav, the Russian man known for recording and sharing videos of his encounters with Ghanaian women online has surfaced.
Yaytseslav, who identifies himself as Russian, began trending on Thursday, February 12, 2026, after clips showing his interactions with Ghanaian women emerged online. Several of the videos capture him around the Accra Mall, where he approaches shoppers and passersby, engages them in conversation, and records the exchanges for online distribution.
In many cases, he persuades the women to share their phone numbers and, at times, visit his residence — moments he also records and later uploads. His content is circulated across platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, and Telegram. While short versions of the videos appear on TikTok and YouTube, the full recordings are reportedly available through a private Telegram channel for a monthly subscription fee.
One of the clips, which has garnered over 1.6 million views on TikTok, shows a woman he met at the mall accompanying him home after a brief interaction. Despite posting numerous videos, Yaytseslav has largely kept his own face hidden, leaving many online users questioning his true identity and appearance.
His actions have raised concerns that the women involved may not have been aware they were being recorded. If that is the case, it could constitute a breach of Ghanaian law, including Section 67 of the Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038), which prohibits the intentional distribution of private images or recordings of an identifiable person without their consent, especially where it may cause serious emotional distress.
The alleged face reveal was shared by vlogger Clement Nana Asamoah of Gossips 24 TV, who was among the first to highlight Yaytseslav’s activities. In the video, the man is seen wearing a lime green T-shirt, light grey trousers, glasses, and a brown crossbody bag.
An earlier Facebook post by Gossips 24 TV suggested that “Yaytseslav” may not be his real name, claiming he is actually called Vyacheslav Trahov.
Meanwhile, reports by Hausabeats indicate that not all the women he approached entertained his advances. In another viral video filmed at the Accra Mall, two women declined his attempt to engage them. Although he complimented their appearance and mentioned he was from Russia, one of the women interrupted to say her sister was married, and both ultimately rejected his attempt to exchange contact details.
