ÀUS Offers $10 Million Reward for Mojtaba Khamenei and Nine Iranian Officials

The United States has offered a $10 million reward for information leading to the capture of Mojtaba Khamenei, Iran’s newly chosen Supreme Leader, along with nine other senior officials.

According to US intelligence officials cited by CBS News, the late former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei had privately warned that his son Mojtaba was not suited to lead, questioning his abilities and personal judgment.

Those assessments were reportedly shared with US President Donald Trump and his advisers.

Mojtaba was named the 8th Supreme Leader and issued a written message through a broadcaster vowing retaliation, but he has not appeared publicly and was read by an anchor instead of speaking himself.

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Mojtaba was likely wounded in the airstrike that k,,illed his father and may have been d!sfigured.

Hegseth added that the statement was delivered without audio or video, calling Mojtaba “terr!fied, injur+d, on the run, and lacking legitimacy.”

President Trump, in a March 14 interview with NBC, said he was unsure if Mojtaba was al!ve and suggested that if he is, surrender would be a wise choice.

Trump also indicated that Iran is interested in a deal but that current conditions are not sufficient to move forward.
